Make a string safe to embed in a single-quoted SQL literal by escaping backslashes and doubling every single quote. Also reverse the process to turn an escaped string back into its original form.
How to use
- Type or paste your string into the input box.
- Choose Escape to add the escaping, or Unescape to remove it.
- Copy the result with the Copy button.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. All escaping happens entirely in your browser.

It uses the standard single-quote doubling rule and also escapes backslashes, covering MySQL and most databases.
